Guidance personnel work closely with parents to ensure student success.  This presentation will be a review of the book by Elaine K. McEwan and details her answers to why parents act as they do, how to remain professional when working with people, steps to a healthy school, when parents should seek other education alternatives, and fifty "try this" suggestions to take back to your school.  This presentation will meet GCDF competency 1 (Helping Skills), 4 (Diverse Populations) and 9 (Program Management and Implementation).
